IsarMUN Application

 

Any university or high-school student is entitled to apply. For legal reasons, we do not admit delegates younger than 16 years old at the time of the conference. Delegates younger than 18 years old at the time of the conference will be asked to supply us with a letter of permission from their parents or legal guardians.

 

Below you will find all relevant information regarding the application process of IsarMUN 2009. Please apply as soon as possible to IsarMUN 2009 in order to get your preferred country / committee. In order to make our application process the most transparent to you we will in the following explain the factors according to which we will decide upon country / committee assignments. Applying as part of a delegation improves your chances of being assigned to a country of your choice. We have no limits regarding the number of delegates that come from a single school.

 

If you would like to participate in IsarMUN 2009, please note that there’s a application deadline; 27th November 2009. After that date you can still apply for IsarMUN but you will have to bring the money directly to the registration office. Please recognize that it is important that you convey the money within 1 week after application. After you sent us your application email we will confirm your application and inform you about your country position and your committee. In order to participate in IsarMUN we highly recommend to you your individual preparation of the IsarMUN which requires intense research and knowledge not only about your country but also about the issues at hand. After you submit your application, you will receive a notification via email. Please note that the registration process will be delayed by incomplete submitted forms. Therefore, please provide all the information required. After admission has been completed, we will notify you with an email about your country and committee. You will then also receive further information on next steps.

 

Conference Fee
At IsarMUN 2009 we will provide you with snacks, facilities, and services. In order to cover our expenses the conference fee for each participant will be 40,00 EUR. Please transfer the fee to the account stated below within 7 days after you have received our Email that you have been accepted to the IsarMUN 2009. Please state as the reason for payment “IsarMUN 2009 – Name Teilnehmer”. It is of utmost importance to provide this information; otherwise we will not be able to identify your payment!

 

We thank you for your understanding that we can only assign a country to you after having received the conference fee. Please note, that we cannot refund the fee to those delegates who cancel their participation after November 20th, 2009. Furthermore, please note, that delegates from abroad will only be recognized for participation if they have valid visa. Unfortunately, the team of IsarMUN 2009 cannot provide you with any help or legal advice concerning visa procedures. Please contact your nearest consulate for help.

 

Financial Aid
Due to limited funding we do not offer direct financial support at IsarMUN. Nonetheless, we try to help delegates with fundraising by providing them with a letter of support. For more information, please contact us via info@isarmun.org.
